N° 6

Turn Report:
Grannery in beiden Städten bauen begonnen
Im Westen ist die Mongolische Grenze sichtbar = Achtung Platzmangel!!!

Wichtig:

>History of Sarasvati

>Speech of the first Kavi Highpriests gathering, in Corn Brooke. (1600 BCE)

N° 4

Kurzzusammenfassung:

>From "Stories of the journeys of Utazás Sá fara Teppo" (also known as "Yacatecuhtli")

"... When I arrived in Corn Brook it was a rather small city. But soon it grew and flourished rapidly.
A lot of new land was irrigated, populated by many well nurished dioclesians, because of the rich harvest, from the well irrigated beautiful golden corn fields surrounding the city.
Irrigated by the water from the lovely curved rivers, which surround Corn Brooke. ...

... I watched the dioclesian womenfolk, when they formed clay into nut like shapes and heated them, to become solid.
These extraordinary objects were used to store the great amounts of corn, some dioclesians even talked about plans to build a building where all excess of corn could be stored for the winter season, transported there by tables with rolls, which is an other recent very interessting invention of the dioclesians, for transportation. ...

... Corne Brooke flourished that much, that more and more people got the privilege to become a honoured warrior of Corn Brooke. The dioclesians saw an importance in having fearless warriors to protect this growing city from people like the newly heard about Aztecs, Indians and "panther" beasts, of the far eastern mythical lands, where their warrior brothers venture. ..."

N° 3

Thucydides notes on Dyarchlesia:

The early years of our people are burdened heavily by the labours of the harvest. Only on occasion do the few select men of the village venture out on journeys beyond the known lands. These warriors amongst men have spread stories of great beasts in the distant lands. These tales told by the old wenches talk of bloody and savage creatures that possess the strength to crush a man of age with only its paws. Our great warriors have shown no fear for these brutes. "But, the bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it." (Thucydides, The Peloponnesian War)

While so much can be told of heroic acts within the mystical lands to the east, the hoi polloi (the many in ancient Greek) of Corn Brooke have found the courage the venture from our dwellings in search of new land and hopes. These few have gone to the west, where many believe good earth can be found. I myself can not claim to have been so far as of yet, but the few that travel up the western valley have spoken of the joys of swell crops and plentiful of food. The Dyarch has taken a liking to the our new found faith of Hinduism and has often referred to the lands in the west as the Punjab.

Alas I shall not forget to mention the tidings of our day. New peoples have been heard to the east. Names such as 'mongol', 'persian' and 'french' have been given to these distant souls. I cannot speak of them, as they seem nothing more to me than mere rumours from the mystical lands that have been clouded by the tell-tales of ill minded tongues from the wifery.

>From "Myths of the sages":
"... and on the march he was stung by a scorpion, in the eastern Desert beyond Godswater. For weeks he was lying in ageny on the brink to death, till the beautiful godess Serket-Hetyt blessed our hero, thus he could breath again and regain all his might. Since then he was called Serket the blessed.
Moved by the power and caring love of the gods, Serket appointed the first priest of our holy hindu gods in Corn Brooke, to worship and thank the gods for their daily blessings. ..."

"... while Serkes was ill, new knowledge of the northern areas and of the myths of these lands of myth was learned from the locals where Serkes and his warriors found shelter. ..."

"... but soon Serkets power and faith was tested by the gods, when terrible Lion-Beasts attacked the brave warriors of Serket in the mythical lands to the east, where creatures and people of strange kinds live. But the faith and bravery of the warriors around Serket didn't faint, and they slew the beasts with great courage, even when they were covered by the blood of their many friends which were slaughtered by these monsters. ..."

"... thus Serket called the majestic mountain nearby "Mt. Heroica", that this first battle of our people against the creatures of the mythical distant lands, would be remembered forever. ..."

---
Historical Note:
Because of the contact with the egytian culture names like Serkes-Hetyt were used also in the Dyarchy, and vise versa hinduism influneced the buddhistic Egypt.

The absence of Serkes while he was ill, and the new believe and its mighty new priest coused some unrest in Corne Brooke. The illnes, the fighting and these plots against his raign caused a early death of Serkes in the camp after the fighting with the lion beasts. Thus a new ruler had to be found... what will his era bring for the believing people of Corn Brooke...

Turn Report:
Settlement founded, 3960BC - Settler in production
Warrior explored surroundings, money and map received through huts.

Chronicles of Herodotus
The settlers ventured the endless lands in search for a home. In 4000BC they finally reached the coastline in seek of fertile grounds and good hopes. This first settlement was named after the nearby cornfields and the Brooke that lent its name. The open waters are within the villages' grasp and are named henceforth as Corn Bay. Our warriors have learned the traits of the locals, who informed us of a distant land, beyond the sea, that holds great mountains and icy waters. In the years to come we may discover what this far land may bring. During the early years a vast flat land surrounded by a chain of mountains and hills to the west of Corn Brooke were found. These seem to hold great prospects of becoming a new place of settlement. Following these discoveries to the west, came the news of a new sea to the north of our great homeland. These also posses great opportunities for our people to settle, and would serve in many ways to our distant children.

After many years of reign, the rulers had to choose a new leader amongst the people. He shall now continue to expand our goals in settling and our achievements in spiritual quest for religion.
